We had the honor of working with Chef Bruce Moffett, executive chef at Moffett Restaurant Group, and Chef Alyssa, the executive chef and owner of Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen, to create a classic Italian meal that matched the décor as well as the beautiful performances from Opera Carolina, our featured artist.
It’s time for my husband and me to throw our 3rd Annual Derby party and I can’t wait! Each year we invite a group of friends to our home, wear our derby best and drink Mint Juleps all day long. It’s a blast.
On March 20 we were able to work with Laney Parrish, the pastry chef at 300 East; Bob Peters, the head mixologist at The Queen and Glass; and the of members of the Charlotte Symphony.
With all three of these elements, the evening was truly magical. First, Party Reflections came through and transformed the event space at Camp North End, a revitalized industrial park, into a gorgeous setting for dinner and music.
The idea became Next Plate, a four-week event series that features local chefs and artists to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience for the Charlotte community. For the first week on March 13 we worked with Chef Shai of Yafo Kitchen, Chef Paul of Mama Ricotta’s and Artist Debora Koo from Goodyear Arts.
