J Leigh Events is excited to continue working with clients to find new, creative ways to host events in a safe, socially distanced manner. One such idea that has grown into a successful series has been Camp North End’s Skyline Drive-In movie nights, which originally started back in the fall.
By transforming a section of their dynamic space into a pop-up drive-in experience every Thursday night, families and friends have been able to view classics like Elf, Cinderella, West Side Story, and more – all from the safety (and warmth!) of their vehicles.
The series has been offering a winter-friendly activity that simultaneously supports local small businesses at the same time. Patrons are encouraged to visit Camp North End’s food stalls, restaurants, shops, and breweries to grab a tasty treat that can be enjoyed during the show!
For more information on the upcoming movie selections, visit Camp North End’s website.
Fun fact: The drive-in theatre experience first came to light on June 6, 1933. That was the day Mr. Richard Hollingshead, opened the first drive-in theater in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey.
