Random Questions with the J. Leigh Team

Random Questions with the J. Leigh Team

We’re not all work and no play at J. Leigh Events, although we do love our jobs. We pour everything we have into each event we help support and create, but the real secret to our success is great people.

For this week’s blog, we had our writer ask each member of the team a different random question to have a little fun and show you a bit more of the personal side of the J. Leigh team.

But of course we had to share some event-related responses as well. Check it out below!

What is one band or musician you'd love to party with? Why?

Erica: It's a tie! Dinner with The Avett Brothers or "party" with Taylor Swift (that's in quotes because I'm 42, and "party" is relative)!

If you could be the best in the world at something, what would it be?

Sam: Being the best at something sounds like a lot of pressure... Can I trade that for being a little good at most things?

If you could be in any tv show, which would you pick?

Brittney: Sex and the City - the wardrobes!

What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?

Jennifer: What a good question. I've eaten some crazy things... The strangest is probably raw horse while in Tokyo.

What's your favorite responsibility at events?

Erica: Oh, this varies depending on the event! Sometimes I like interacting with attendees directly; other times, I enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure a successful event!

Jennifer: This is tough. My favorite part of the planning stage is the creativity behind transforming a space and creating the client's vision. My favorite part during an event is watching people and seeing that vision come to life.

What's your favorite event you've ever attended and why?

Sam: I got to see My Chemical Romance during their reunion tour, and you just can't beat seeing a band you never thought you'd get to see again.

Brittney: I attended the Toys R Us Children Fund Gala in high school with my mom's company. We had a company table at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square, and Lionel Richie was the entertainment. At that point in my life, it was the most extravagant event I had ever seen or attended.
